Back home, Calgary is slighted as a redneck right-wing paradise. It is the sort of self-righteous rhetoric which is always wrong, but no one seems to realize.

Calgary, along one of its main streets. Cars are not permitted onto this street. (WHAT?!)

Fine art like this dots the inside of different buildings.

There was no moral outrage over these Hindu statues being displayed at the local museum.

The truth is, I tried really hard to find something to photograph and say “These folk are red necks!” – I found nothing. I suppose someone from Montreal might be put off by the fact that there are no strip clubs on main street. That is because, unlike Montreal, companies establish major corporate headquarters on Calgary’s main streets, and as a result, the rent is too high for a “Club Supersex” of their own.
where are all the rednecks!!? yehaaa!!!
